To support our Yacht Structures Management in Nieuw Lekkerland, we are looking for an independent, solid and proactive.

Cost Proposal manager – Yacht Structures

In this dynamic key position, you are not only responsible for the calculating of the cost price, you also maintain visibility and control over the bigger picture. You are capable of doing both well and being able to switch quickly between these two extremes. You are the first advisor to the Management Board, who proactively provides you with information. This position within the team, the independence and the responsibility you have in this, make this a challenging role for a driven professional with a love for yacht building.

You make complete and detailed quotations for the aluminum superstructure of superyachts. Part of the time you will be busy making calculations, the other part you will dive into the organization to retrieve project information from your colleagues.

You are involved in the entire process: from sale to follow up the calculation. In the sales phase, you are an advisor to the management and representative of the company while being in contact and visit the client. During the production phase you process the quotations. And, finally, after delivery, you and the project manager ensure proper follow up  calculation and evaluation. Your calculations form the basis for both cost monitoring and planning throughout the entire process.
In this position you report directly to the General Manager Yacht Structures.

We are looking for someone with
•    A completed Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering or Shipbuilding.
•    You have at least 5 years of work experience in a similar position in the yacht or shipbuilding industry.
•    Knowledge of ERP systems and reading technical drawings.
•    You have good communication skills in English both verbally and in writing.
