Description	Software Manager Your job Our client is a company that develops and commercializes innovative upstream oil and gas technology products and services. They work with bi-directional communication via smooth precision coated cables. This specialised winch is full electric, easy to operate, silent, has zero wire break, zero pull-off and zero maintenance. A fully enclosed, single lift compact cabin with dual drum configuration combines traditional lines with current day digital data streaming. As a Software Manager you combine technical knowledge and experience with coordination skills, and you deliver continual optimization and product improvement for our client. You also collaborate with your colleagues to create new input in hardware and electronics design, testing and market deployment. Besides this some of your responsibilities are: Overseeing all software development Managing projects and project teams Coordinating software engineers Identifying and managing new software Identifying skills needed in the team Organizing training for the team Your profile To be eligible for the position of Software Manager you need the following requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Electronic Engineering or related fields At least 5 years relevant industry experience Experience with C/C++ Experience in designing and testing electronic circuits (analogue and/or digital) for demanding environmental conditions Familiar with microcontrollers, experience with bus systems (CAN or Modbus) Experience in Qt and QNX is a benefit Experience with Mechatronics/automation is a benefit Strong command of the English language, both written and verbally Our Offer TopShore offers job opportunities for highly skilled engineers in the Netherlands.
